In addition, the flexibility of Cyclone water polo suits means that we can do very small runs, and this is a big plus for our customers. As part of our service we arrange deliveries according to your requirement. Cyclone believes we have a product amongst one of the highest standards, and that our fabric is colorfast in salt and chlorine environments. Cyclone Water Polo has been in business from 2001 and our sons Craig and Rhett are still enjoying their first Cyclone custom suit.
Sublimation Printing
Cyclone uses sublimation printing process which involves using specific sublimating inks that once heat activated will “flash” into a gaseous state penetrating and dying the fabric. This process is considered by many to be permanent because the image physically becomes part of the fabric it has been applied to
The sublimation process is extremely durable as it dyes the fibres of the fabric, the temperature of the press has to be between 200 and 210 degrees. This process is more durable than screen-printing. The colors are very vibrant and do not wash out nor does it affect the breathability of the fabric.
Step-by-Step process and customizing
To start the process we need the customer to provide a sketch or artwork of what they want. If they need school or club logos or badges we need a mailed format in either jpeg or pdf. It is preferable to have a color sample to color match. From here we set up the artwork with our printers and mail a proof for approval. The basic cost includes two colors and white in the design, Any additional colors increase the cost per water polo suit. All suits would carry our Cyclone logo, preferably on the left front of the costume. A 50% deposit is required for the process to start, and Cyclone has a 4 week turnaround time from receiving the deposit. The minimum order per design is 15 water polo suits. The shipping cost will be quoted with the order.
